Shipping policy
We do our best to process your orders within 3-4 business days and strive to fulfill your orders as quickly as possible. However, during times of high volume (especially during the holiday season or sales) it may take closer to 5-8 business days.
Once your order is paid for we cannot update your shipping method.
Tracking numbers go out when we create a label and begin working on your order. Your tracking number might not show updates right away. If your order has not updated in 8 business days, please reach out to us at hello@familiarfolia.com so we can assist you as soon as possible.
Once we hand off our package to our mail carriers, your package is out of our control. We can only see the same tracking information you can!
*SPECIAL SHIPPING UPDATE*
As of October 1st, the USPS has initiated new service standards on its first-class mail and packages. These new standards will lengthen delivery time for about 30% of its volume. Some parcels traveling longer distances can take up to 5 days to arrive instead of the usual 2-3 days. We will continue to ship orders as quickly as possible, but this holiday season may require more patience with USPS. If you need speedier delivery we recommend selecting UPS delivery options at checkout.
We are unable to offer refunds for packages marked as delivered.
Please ensure your address is correct and accurate at checkout time - we are not responsible for items lost due to an old or incorrect shipping address. If you think your mail area is not secure to receive packages, we suggest sending your package to work or friends/family where it can be delivered safely.
If your item is damaged during shipping please take photos.
Please inspect your package upon arrival, if you notice signs of damage we ask that you take photos of the shipping box your order arrived in and the damaged item(s) with product label(s) visible. Please send this to hello@familiarfolia.com with your order number in the subject line so we can help sort you out!
Candles are heat-sensitive.
Please keep in mind current temperatures when ordering your candle. During the summer months, we only ship M-W to avoid long transit times, but how long and where your packages are transported is out of our control. During the summer months we offer extra heat protection for as an add-on to you order. We do our best to package your candles for extreme heat during transit, but our natural wax has a lower melt point than most. If your candles arrive melted, please send us photos of your items with the product labels visible to hello@familiarfolia.com so we can best assist you.
